I have a question for those using Quickbooks ,I am going to purchase it this week and noticed they have 2007 thru 2010 versions.Do you have to buy it each year?

You don't HAVE to.....some older versions will "phase out" but if you go with the newest version, you should have to upgrade for a couple of years. If you have an accountant, check to see which version they prefer so that you're compatible with them when the time is right!

No. But I will say the 2010 version has a new contact management sytem with it. I don't know how well it works, but would have been nice for me to have earlier instead of having 2 systems and importing/exporting all the time.

Get the 2010 version, they will stop supporting 2007 after tax season at least that what I was told when talking to them on the phone last month. Costco has it on sale right now too.

I use 2010 it's pretty cool. You'll love it once you get it all setup and running.

Check Out Amazon.com there a several dealers where you can get big discounts on the program. You can save 50 - 75%.

Do exactly what Terry says, get the most current one available because it will last the longest until phased out.

Another thing to consider is Quickbooks Oniline... If you have an IPhone you can sync up and send the invoice onsite with your IPhone...
