Question for Posting Pictures

How are or what are you guys doing to post pictures on these Boards? I use to use image shack but they changed it around and it sucks now, are you uploading somewhere here are off site? I just want pics to turn out good and I see some of the ones posted on here them are thumbs and then click to enlarge them.

Step by Step Instructions, By John Aljaz

1. Load Pictures to Computer and remember where you saved them.

2. Open Paint, In your accessories folder.

3. Once paint is open go to file then open. and find the picture you want, and open that.

4. Once picure is loaded, press ctrl W and a window will open.

5. Once window is open, Depending on the size of the picture enter 50% values for Horizontal and Vertical. If that is still to big do 1 more 50% on each or 60, 70, 80

6. Once you are happy with the size, go to file, and select SAVE AS and save it as a new file, that way you don't over write the old file. Remember where you saved it.

Then come on here, and post when you are done writing your post, before you submit scroll down at the bottom of the page and click on manage attachment.

Select Browse find the new re sized file, and select it, It will Up load automatically, Once its uploaded you will see the file under current attachments. Close that window and select submit reply.

Terry I am a novice but if you use a host like photobucket or flickr they usually have an 'embed' url as well as just the url and it should be right there with your picture or under share or something like that. If you copy that and paste it in your post you will have the clickable picture. I think that it's easier to do that than upload from the file on your own computer. Otherwise you go to the vb codes that is down at the bottom left of the screen and it tells you what to type in to make the picture come up. Thats pretty much everything I know about it.

I have used photobucket before, I had been using image shack but they changed it around and took off the url part for forums that worked good. Thanks for the help guys.

html code on photobucket works. All the instructions above about resizing the photos works great too.
