I was using that nozzle calculator to determine what size nozzle I need to bring a 4 gpm 4200 psi machine down to between 800 and 1100 psi for softwashing. When I typed in 1100 a warning came up saying I could destroy my equipment or something because of OVER PRESSURIZING, that does not make sense. How can using a 7.5 orifice on a machine that uses a 4.0 orifice nozzle get over pressurized?
Is there some sort of law of physics at play here? that I don't know about?
