Who's going to the Convention in Miami at the end of January?

I was suppose to go to the convention In Pitt but we all know what happened their.

The flights from NY to Miami I can get for around $330 round trip and the hotel I can get for around $60/nite (Howard Johnsons I know cheap hotel but I'm not going for a vacation)

So I figure if I go for 5 nites thats around $300/hotel +$330/flights+$225/wood restoration class+$300 for that business class and maybe $250 to become a PWNA member and of course around $300 spending money this =$1705 which transends to about 2 grand.

When I look at it that way I don't want to go but I know in the long run it will pay off like most everything else.

If I wait untill its closer to my area the only thing cheaper would be the flights but you have to admit its nice to go to a warm climate if in the dead of the winter its cold in your area like it is here.

So who's going?

Not me just bought a hot water pressure washer. I was going to the one in Pitts. Personnally I used the money I was going to spend in Pitt. on a Cam/dig camera.

I would love to go but I think it will not be a good time of the year for me. January is very busy and it usually runs through February. Will have to wait till it gets closer, I sure would like to meet some of you guy’s faces too face. It’s been a lot of Fun meeting the contractors I have met in the past.
 
No time to go. From October through Tax time is my busiest time of the year. I usually always attended the Fall meetings, and never had the time to attend the spring one's. Hope everyone that does decide to go has a blast. Besides, I am still waiting for things to change a bit before I rejoin.
 
I just got a mug in the mail, nice gift but i think they spent about 10.00 sending it. the mug is around 2.00 and the postage was 3.95 handling was another 2 or 3 dollars.

anyway, i would like to see some reform, maybe it lies ahead?

When do the members vote on the board?
