Pump Up Sprayer

I am tired of buying pump up sprayers that only work for a month or two as the SH seems to really be rough on the different store-brands that I have used. I would like to buy one that can handle keeping a bleach mix in it all the time as I always like having it on hand to pre-treat a few heavy spots before beginning my house wash. My current one (2 gallon BE sprayer) had the pressure valve go out first (taped it shut to hold pressure) then spring in trigger corroded and now it won't stop spraying when under any pressure.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a pump up that can handle bleach and some acids? Thanks.

Try Grainger, they have them availiable, lifetime warrenties on most.

My guys supply themselves with wands , gloves & sprayers. We buy the Gloves in bulk and distribute them to the guy equally. The wands they buy from the Co. Sprayers because some choose not to buy the expensive ones we have them all get there own.

A pest control supply will have sprayers and electric pumps.

I would go with a Chapin 1 gal.. Great pumps, stainless, viton seals, rebuildable. Each of our guys has one....not cheap, they run about $250 but they last forever.

Chapin has other cheaper models, but they are geared toward homeowner use.

Cheapo Pump up sprayers are consumables....but they can be rebuilt or rigged to last. We have a Home Depot Back sprayer that has lasted for over a year, we have had everything from acid to SHC in it and we hae only had to do minor and cheap repairs.

also....if you are just hitting a few spots, why waste time and money and buy about 10 squirt bottles from Depot or Lowes, fill one up, use it as long as it lasts then toss it. A couple bucks at most and will spray as farasa pump up.

Thanks Ron, Mike and Jim. I believe Grainger sells the identical unit that you posted Jim. I will hit the Grainger in Daytona tomorrow after I look at a couple medical office properties in nearby Ormond Beach for a roof estimate. Thanks again for the recommendation as that Chapin sprayer looks like just what I need! :thumbup2:

Set up a small 35gal tank with a Flo-Jet from Northern Tools and take out the warranty for $15.00. If it craps out on ya they will send you a new one. I have used a Flo=Jet for many years before the Delvan came along, and if you rinse it with fresh water at the end of the day it will last a long time.

+10

I have used FloJet, ShurFlo and Delavan pumps for all kinds of chemicals and at the end of the job or end of the day just rinse them out with about 5 or 10 gallons of water and I get a long time out of those pumps.

That is a nice spray rig Jim.
