Proper disposal of grease

what are you doing up at this hour?....Don't you need your beauty sleep.

ok drip trays and scrapings (w/out chem) get dumped in thier oil (barrel outside). heavy solids (w/chem) get bagged tied off throw in trash. Water gets neutralized cooled to around 150 ...skim off floating grease (if it's thick) sometimes not.....send thru grease trap-

Speaking of grase traps I started using some grease eating enzyme material that was developed for the exxon vadez clean-up. The patent has run out anit is now available. lont is concentrated at 32 billion enzymes per gram and is not effected by water salt water and in active until the grease is totally eaten. It cleaned a 30 gals grease trap that was clogged up out completely in 4 days with two table spoons I was toally amazed It is called bioclean.

Alright, I've done some research on Bio-Clean and have came to the conclusion that this stuff is the bomb! I talked to several plumbers and they all said that I won't believe how well this stuff works. I'm getting some here locally on Monday. I have just the customer that I want to try it out on first. He always wants me to pressure wash his roof when I clean his exhaust but I won't for obvious reasons. I'm going to take before and after pics to see how well it works.....sorry to hijack the thread, but I think this is really important for us greasers....

Don't believe them Ron, the grease just goes back into the fryer.

We freeze it into 5 LBS blocks and drop them into a lake so that they sink to the bottom-problem solved and no issue at all.

Old Grease

Works really well as a personal lubricant. Just heat it up, slap it on and the old laddys happy as hell in a few minutes. She gets a lotta rashes though, but you gotta work through that. Ya dont get something for nuthing!!!:p

The biggest purchaser of refined rendered restaurant fryer oil is the cosmetic industry, followed by soap manufacturers. Go figure

I have a similar product made by Bio-Future, it really works great. They have a pool and spa formula that I use in my hot tub as well it is awesome. Check it out www.biodigesters.net This is the product to use with water recycling systems, it removes the emulsified oils and gets rid of the stink. Works on ponds too for alge growth, cool stuff.
