I was wondering what the going hourly rate is for pricing jobs? Does anyone have a sugestion on how to figure a good price? how much is sealer applying priced at for just labor?

Thank-you for any help!

ron p/only you

only you can set your price.
no one else knows what it costs you per hour to be in biz.
What i need to charge and what you need to charge are 2 entirely diffrent numbers.
That is why there is no price guide.
Also your equipment would make a world of diffrence to the price.

Pricing?

We was just wondering if there was a normal price thatr most coustermers want to pay? We tend to stay in the $40 per hour range. I seen on a web site that the going rate is between $35-$70 an hour. Is there a set fee to go to a home our business? I konw in our area there is a p-wasing business that will not even come out for less that a $100 dollar charge. is this normal?

Thank-you

Lot of house call services (like heating/airconditiong) use $60 per hour for straight service calls (in my area). That's $60 if they're there for 15 minutes or 1 hr. Materials are extra.
Like Ron mentioned: depending on what your business set up is, what you are cleaning, how many people you employ, do you have to reclaim, etc., etc., etc. will determine YOUR portion of the cost then profit is added on to it. What the market will bear in your area for each specific type of cleaning will vary widely.
Cleaning CAN range $45 - $150/hr plus.

ron p/affordable

at $40 per hour plus chem plus travel plus everything a ONE man show has to pay plus taxes
i could get a reg 40 hr a week job and make more money. Add in health care and your out of biz. before you get started.
i will guess you are part time?
very little overhead?
Do you have biz. insurance?
Who is keeping the books?
What do you pay for truck insurance?
is your equipment paid for?
Do you advertise?
Do you work on your own equipment?
Do you mix your own chems?
Do you need to pay rent?
do you pay interest on any biz. loans?
credit card is payed at the end of every month?
How much of that $40 goes to put food on the table?
How much do you put away for new equipment?
What will it cost you in truck maint this year?
truck reg?
As you can see from my SHORT version of the people with there hand out taking a share of that $40,what do you get out of it?
Do you work year round?

When I price a p/w job I think how long it will take and charge 100.00 a hour. I have a roll out fee of 75.00 for smaller jobs.
