Hi everyone, I am wanting to start my own pressure washing business.I am 43 and never done this type of work before would like to have some feedback from some you pros.I read all the info on here and other bbs that I can find and have started pricing some equipment .My question is.Is there steady work for this type of business and how hard is it to get a pressure washing business up and running.I live in the south Florida area.
Thanks any info will be appreciated
Jon

find a contractor that

is just outside the area you want to work in.
Call him and ask if you can work with him for a couple of days.
After a couple of days you will know if this is for you.
I am sure we have a member here that would let you work for a couple of days.

Hi Jon,

If you are just getting into this, I would definately take a look at what is on Ebay. Here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2508222417&category=11762

This is my trailer I set up for the business. If you are really serious then take a look at this.

I will happily deliver this to Florida for you and spend a day with you, basically getting you going and telling you all about the business. I have been in this for 6 years and have built a very strong and financially profitable pressure washing business. Now I am graduating to distributor and selling off this new equipment.

Any questions, email or call.

Thanks

Hi Ron and Justin. Thanks for the info. Ron I had thought about the very thing you said about trying to work for someone outside my area for awhile but didnt know if anyone would be intrested in letting me work with them for a few days. But after much reading the bbs there seem to be some really nice people in the pwb so I will give that a try.

Justin the site that you put on the boad did not take me to ebay but I think I might have found the site .Is it a 97 yellow dodge truck with the mounted equipment on the truck? If it is,that is a sweet set up.I would love to have that set up if I had the fiancing.

Mike, (oneness)

Thank you for the compliment. I have a lot of time in setting this machine up. Hope it sells for around $20,000.00 :)

Hey, no problem! You've given me a lot of good ideas. I spent an afternoon a couple weeks ago wrestling my washer to the back of the trailer because of your pics. Damn if that thing isn't heavy to move!

I do have a couple questions for you relating to your setup, if you don't mind?

The valve you are using for your injector (the one you have mounted on your reels)...Where can I find one like that?

You mentioned you have your engine exhaust vented into the same pipe as the burner exhaust. Is there an attachment that will bolt to the engine exhaust, or did you fabricate something yourself?

Thanks!
