Pressure Pro skids

I have the 8gpm 3500 12v unit. Last night the machine was surging (flow) and seemed like it was starving for water. Almost completed the job when it went to basically nothing for pressure and flow. I did not mess with the unloader from the previous settings. Any ideas on what the problem may be?

I had a machine do the same thing when a pump burned out.

Any filtration on the unit? Could be the unloader going/went out. You could bypass it with a wide open gun to test it out for sure, then you will know if it is the pump or unloader, assuming water inlet flow is good.

The inlet water is real good no problems there. I removed each valve bolt, checked them all only one had a small piece of plastic wrap caught up inside it. I did not remove the head to investigate futher. I will be calling PP tomorrow to check what they say to do with it. Is it a possibility that the head could have something in it causing this. Also the little blow off valve has been leaking water lately as well. Any Ideas on this also

sounds like the unloader is stuck in by pass... if you by pass line is a hose you can that a pair of plyers and sqeeze the hose if the hose swells up while you have the trigger pulled thats could be your prob.... I would also check the check valves... a very small rock can make one of them stick and that can make you lose pressure

I had an unexplained incident just like this last year. All of as sudden, machine acts like its starving for water, but tank was full. It turned-out that the filter on the chem tube that I move from the housewash mix tank to the supply tank to rinse, had gotten sucked into the intake. It took me a while to figure this one out.

P.S. I did check the filter and it was clean. I didn't find the problem till I removed the chem hose and realized that the filter was missing.

I had a similar problem when my DS was stuck. If you have a down streamer installed, remove it and try again.
