I have the pressure pro 8gpm 3500 and having problems hooking up soap injecton to it.Its not pulling any soap...hooked it after unloader....hooked it before hose reel......5-8gpm Delco injector....What am I doing wrong or suggestions....Talked to larry at delco already....HELP arrow is right direction

try taking the barb off the injector and making sure the ball is not stuck, clean it and retry. If not then i am not sure either. I have a brand new adams acid that is just sitting there because of the same problem

Make sure the gun you are using has a large enough opening inside. You can check to see if the injector is working by flowing with out the gun on and seeing if it sucks. Unless you are using a super suds sucker, you probably won't be able to pull thru more than 200" of hose. Pressure pros are not true 8gpms so you can probably use a 0040, if not try a 0050 to downstream.

I currently have the same problem. One hose real has a 150ft of hose and a super suds sucker. Works great. The other real has 150ft and the cheaper injector. I have tried 3 brand new $25.00 injectors and can't get a tenth of what I get with the suds sucker. The funny thing is the $25 injectors used to work just fine on that real. So somthing has changed. Just don't know what.

Gene, I have the Pressure Pro 8gpm 3000psi cold water rig and it will downstream with the 0040, 1540, 2540 and 4040 nozzles.

If you use the ball valve like a lot of us do, start to close it when the machine is running and it will pull chems, just find the sweet spot where it pulls and then where it does not pull anymore.

I have had new downstream injectors that the ball was stuck so after unsticking it, it would work good again.

If the ball fell out, it would be blowing water out the DS.
See if it sucks with no tip, if it does, you have a tip problem.
if it doesnt, take the ball out and spray it with wd40, its magic.
if it adjustable, make sure it is open.

Seems you have a few things others mentioned you could try, give us your findings in the morning.

When you make that statement you mean that "Pressure Pros" are assembled so that the pulleys are driving the pump below the maximum rated rpm, so effectively the pumps are not at maximum rated capacity?

I was thinking of checking my pumps with a strobe light the other day just to calculate what my TSF2021 is really outputting.

Pressure Pro's typically come with a Honda 20 horse.
20hp will not give you 3500 at 8gpm. physically impossible.

Nigel, if you can eyeball the size of the pulleys with a tape measure or if they're stamped you can tell how fast the pump is turning by the engine rpm. Also I think you can get a good idea by what pressure you're getting with what size tip.You really want more horsepower? How much?

Ok, I see were you are going, true 20HP is for electric Horse Power not gas engine Horse Power, but I have never seen a "pressure pro" rated for 8 @ 3500 psi with a 20HP Honda on in. They all have 24HP with that pump rating.

( Note: Honda no longer post the HP rating on their new engines the have they displacement values , 620...(20HP*) and 670...(24HP*), they also bumped their warranty from 2 to 3 years)

The question is if the pumps are truly spinning at the exact rpms to give you the advertised gpms under load.

I was told that hydrotek get in some "hot water" for something similar on a government contract.

I now want a least a 34 HP Kohler, I only have a 30HP with a 120 Volt system. I rather have the reserve HP and run my system as an "industrial" unit.

Also look at the specs of a 34HP Kohler, the engineering, and read the fine print, do tell.....what do you see?

"Eye Ball", I did that, I just wanted something more hardcore "evidence". The strobe light would not lie, only + or - 1.5%
