Has anyone used a pitch witch for cleaning roofs? I also have seen a flexible wand that can be bent to get the angle of spray that you want. Any experienced washers have any tips for cleaning roofs and not blowing water up under the shingles?

We have one - they are interesting contraptions - work well but not as easy to control as you might think. Depending on how many roofs you are planning on getting, it could be well worth the money if you can't walk them :)

Ok next project after surface cleaner.. Build a better pitch witch... ( Note to Self ) LOL

This thing looks pretty easy t0 build . We cleaned my wifes uncle's roof. and used one of the water brooms from home depot and an extension wand.. We modified the water broom by putting tires from my old roll around pressure washer on it. they were aired up knobby tires .. gave us a 3 inches off the roof spray ..with the big machine and hot water we used no chemical... I will get some pics as soon as I get to the shop this week.
