Oxalac on Concrete

I've been cleaning for 2 1/2 yrs now. Been using a beefed up version of my house wash for concrete (mostly residential). I see that many are using oxalic acid. I would like to know how much to mix and how to apply it (Downstream?)

If you are not using a dedicated pump its hard to get ox to really do much cleaning concrete.Depending on what you are trying to clean off the concrete.Red mud stains take a bit more.I used ox the other day on a strip mall with red mud stains mixed up 144 oz per 40 gallons of water and added 2 gallons of muratic and it seemed to really cut the red mud well.

Use 8-10 ounces of oxalic power to a gallon of water(strong mix) after you clean the concrete. Put this on with a dedicated pump or pump up sprayer. Really brightens the concrete.

Al, unless you really need to remove sulfur rust from the concrete I would not mes with it. Stick to your regular concrete cleaning solutions. If you do need to use it then you will definitly need a dedicated pump. i wouldn't run it through a 12 volt though. Also you may want to hook your hoses directly to the pump and avoid having it go through any hose reels as it tends to eat them up. Ask me how I know? X Jetting will work as well as long as you make a good strong mix.
