Looks great Russ!

Just wondering, why not double or triple stack the hose reels closer to the back so they can be reached from the ground?

I have one of those pre-filters, anyone seen them a lot larger? I am looking for one that is at least 2x or 3x that size.

Thanks.

The customer wanted to keep that area clear. After getting the truck here, I pointed out to him the shelf above the water tank could've held 3 electric reels, freeing up more floor space. But, the stuff was already ordered in, so it is what it is.

Where/ what is the pre-filter?

From the first picture I thought the vacuum exhaust was a ducted muffler from the engine

Nice stuff

Tom, it is the clear cyllinder on the side of the hotwater skid connecting to the purple vacuum system with the 2" Gray hose.

Those have either stainless steel screens or bag filters in them that you just take out and empty then re-install.

I am looking for one a lot larger but easy to open and empty like this one.

I don't think that the electric vacuums have the 2" exhaust ports like on the Scirocco or truckmount systems. My Nikro system does not have a 2" port, just holes on the top of the blower motors for the air to escape.

A better discussion would be, what would you do to save this rig, short of totally tearing it down. A couple of ideas, reels on top of tanks, and external fuel tanks for the pressure washer, and then generator that surely needs to go somewhere.

I feel the same way about the placement. Imagine it might be a little more work to get things going, but imagine after a full day and people being tired and all. I want to work smarter not harder. The equip was already ordered, but maybe you need to spend some more time before everything is ordered or make it a policy to bring in the truck or send a photo of what your going to be working with. Good equipment though. Going to go eat a hotdog now...

If it was me, I would slide the hot water skid closer to the back so it would be easier to fill and start/stop.

I would make a frame to hang the hose reels from near the ceiling right over the vacuum hose reel, also near the back thus leaving some room to walk between the skid and the reels to get to the back to get the surface cleaners out. I would rig up something to secure the surface cleaners using the system on the walls so they don't slide around.

It would be nice if you could cut doors into the side, kind of like what T. George P. does with the trailers. If you could do that you could just turn the hot water skid sideways so you can open up the door/window to fill the tanks and/or start/stop the machines. If you could do that, you could also access the vacuum hose reel the same way also.

You would end up with some good room in the middle of the truck for a generator, extra supplies, chemical tanks, etc...

Just my opinion.

Looks great Russ. I'm ready for that pump and the two unloaders. Send em when you can.

Thanks for being there and actually knowing that downstreaming is not just a way to catch fish.

I can't tell you how much your knowledge means to us.

Russ, make sure they are the cheap.chinese versions. Tony is not comfortable otherwise.

He wanted enough room between the machine and the door for the Sirocco and a 28" Hydro Tek that he already owns.

I am surprised no one has mentioned the "E-Track" system on the walls of the truck.

"E-Track Load Locks" could be employed to make different levels i.e. hang hose reels, upper levels etc. Plus, they are removable. That could free up tons of space, making it easier to "get around inside".

...or not.

Great idea. That stuff is amazingly strong, and can handle a lot of weight. Not to mention all the little accessories that can be purchased for it.
