Well, i did my first home show and I have to say, I was pretty pleased with the over all results. We will be doing our second one next weekend, but it is a smaller venue. Last year they had 12,000 people, but they said that the crowds were down this year because of the thunder storms and cold snap that came through. I didn't push at all for estimates and only took the ones that I was sure I would get. I have 18 of those, not including all the people that were interested that came in and talked to me and said they would call. I hired a couple girls to just pass out postcards and I think we put close to 2,500-3,000 cards in peoples hands and had them tell people about our give-a-way. We probably have 300-400 names from that.
We also teamed up with a local window washer that was right next to us, and he offered residential window washing, gutter clean outs, and dryer vent cleaning (none of which I offer).
