Ooma internet phone

Just wanted to share about Ooma....I purchased a ooma Internet phone service(looks like a anwsering maching) this month. It sells for 250.00( mine was on sale for 200) You use a land line phone corded or cordless.....Then it like 11.00 a year after that. Comes with VM, forwarding, caller id...ect....All local calls in us are free.... It hooks up to your Internet (must be high speed). You can add some premium package which allows you a second line if you need it. and more advanced stuff. I think that is like 12 month or something.

I bought this system for one reason .....Fax I haven't had a land line in about 15 yrs......without a land line I was unable to fax. Unless i wanted to buy efax or something like that...efax to me is way to expensive.

I have heard using the fax with ooma is good and bad....so far I have sent 2 faxes and both went through.

I use MyFax.com, it's around 10 dollars a month and I have not had any problems with it. I like the fact that you can send multiple faxes at once with it.

I seen that one...it was like 100 out 200 inbound for 10 a month plus whatever you go over. I believe it was a lot cheaper than efax. I choose to go this way to have a unlimited phone,Vm, forwarding, plus fax. for 10 a year and the cost of the machine. I guess its to each their own.....

I am maybe looking for another fax machine that will let me input 100's of numbers and fax at one time if anyone knows of anything. Mine will only do about 20.
