I might need a little help in New Mexico. We didn't spend as much time there. I've probably been there about 10 times.
My take during the times I've been there is that they are little more standoffish than Arizonians.
I didn't strike up as much in the way of extemporaneous conversations and the local business owners seemed a little more suspicious of outsiders.
It is a beautiful state, kindof like a toned-down Sedona. At one point you cross the continental divide and it's just a huge area.
It's hot AND cold. The first 3 times I was there I encountered snow.
It's pretty sparsely populated. We did a bid for Walgreens to include this area a while back and the drive between stores was huge because, as you know, Walgreens liked to put stores in every small town a few years ago.
My mom's husband owned a home in Alamogordo for years. It's where he went to get away from everything.
Do we have anybody here from New Mexico?
