oil in pavers

Has anyone every gotten oil out of pavers. The place im cleaning tonight has some oil stains in the pavers left from the contrators that build it. These stains did not budge with hot water during my demonstration but I have seen a product online that says it will take the stains out.

Will caustic hurt the pavers or am i wasting my time mixing it up to clean them

You can take some portland cement and put it on the oil spot dry. Or Kitty litter can do it, as well. Just put it on there and let it sit for 30 minutes or so. Sweep it up and wash it down.

I will try that Scott, thanks for the help. I tried caustic, and have not tried anything else yet. Here are photos of it. Also just a warning, WD-40 wll not take bubble gum up, the manager at this store was told to use it and it would make the gum disappear. The wet photo is after caustic on the spot, and the final pic is of WD-40 in concrete

You might need to treat it multiple times to get it to come up, or, you could just pressure wash it with the realization that it is going to soak in and disappear over time, as long as the free oils are gone.

I have already cleaned it and it lightened up alot but the owner of this property is also ownes a PM group here with about 10 properties so I really want to make a great impression
