o-rings

What is your preferred o-ring? Buna, EPDM or Viton

I have not had any luck with the more expensive ones EPDM and Viton, the Buna for me last longer, all of my guys have complained about them. In fact the Viton didn't even make it to the second day.

E-spec stopped selling the Buna 0-ring that’s why I am asking I wonder if I can get them from DELCO?

I used the viton from e-spec. With cold water they last me forever. With hot water it varies. Sometimes they go out right away other times they last a long time. If I keep changing tips it will wear out faster. The ones in the end of the wand wear out faster then any of the others.

We use Viton and have great luck with them. I get 200 at a time for $0.20 each. What is everyone else paying for them.

I pay 26 cents a piece for mine.

The EPDM's I just ordered are for $8.25 for 50 just over .16 per , but if they don't work any better than the last one's I ordered that low price is useless.

orings

O rings are not the problem is your fittings.. Replace them with different style, more expensive but your problem will go away. Mine is not o rings is the quick connects that wear out.

I originally thought the same thing, I need to replace the fitting. Then I thought why doesn't it happen with the other o-rings?
This only happens at the gun where we are constantly changing wands and tips. We replace this fitting often, it's the one that take the punishment.
Anyway a mailer has been on my desk for three days, and I finally looked at it today, the first thing I saw was o-rings .09 for 100 1/4 buna, .10 EPDM and .18 VITON
