Number One Again!

Apple Roof Cleaning

Roof Cleaning Instructor
We are BACK at number one for Google search "roof cleaning"
My web page is LINKED to PWI, so being number one helps PWI, and ALL linked to me.

I do not know HOW long I will stay number one ?
I just checked Google's Cache when they last crawled my site.

ONLY two of my links and NONE of my other pages show up on the snapshot they took of my page on the last crawl.

The server I am on had major problems, and intentionally CUT the bandwidth allowed on it's sites.
Thus, it left my main page, and stashed the others, temporarily.

My many other pages are back on my site, but IF I drop in rankings again, it tells me something!

It simply means that Google considers my other pages as cleverly worded duplicate pages, and is TRYING to tell me something ?

WWW.Saferoofcleaning.com, my URL, is an "old friend" to Google.
It is not only an OLD URL, but was once Google's top ranked roof cleaning site.

Google MAY just be trying to tell me "Hey Dude, cut the duplicate BS off your site, and you CAN be number one again, like you were all those years ?

We shall see...... on the next crawl!

I always wondered WHY I dropped to number two anyway.
W/O taking anything away from my worthy competitors, I spend a LOT of time doing things to make me number one.

You almost HAVE to have an OLD URL to be number one guys.
Sorry, but that is just the way it is.
Unfortunately, Google and many search engines recognize seniority.

Just gotta wait your turn.

Oh yes, you CAN be number one in a local market, THAT is achievable with a lot of work.

But to be number one in the WORLD, it is a different story.

ALL the top 5 or 6 roof cleaning URL's are former number ones.

We have all been slugging it out, jockeying for top position.

I have always been number one, OR number two for the past 5 years.

Actually, up until 1 1/2 years ago, I was number one.

Links to SOME of you guys hurt me because many of you are pressure washers, and I am a roof cleaner.

I tried to help some of you, and it has done wonders for many of your local search rankings to be linked to a highly world ranked site.

IF MOST of you would have linked back, it would have been cool.
Google can "forgive" this attempt to jump higher in the rankings.

But Many of you did not.

So, Here it is, link back to me, or I will drop your azz like a hot potato.

I cannot carry dead weight any longer.

A link on YOUR web page to me will help YOU, as long as you are non competitive Locally.

Google will see it as "increasing information" and smile on you.

Just let me know when you do it, and I will reciprocate with a link back to you!

No more "free rides" guys, sorry!

hey guys about how much should i charge for an average 1 story roof cleaning job?

Chris,

Age of URL is definitely one of the most heavily weighted factors. Linkbacks (when they are reciprocal) mean nothing to Google. It is the one way links that hold the weight. Google then considers your site an authority. Another thing that is very important is matching the title of your page to you H1, H2, and H3 tags. Your meta tags also have to be relevant. Content is still king with X number of keywords mentioned throughout the page. Also be sure that you have all of pages linked. A sitemap is a good way for Google to index all of your pages. I'm not going to give away all the secrets as they have been recently taught to me. A new company is designing my DIY deck cleaning site. These guys have taken many sites that had no ranking and got them to the first page within a couple of months. Clean, error free code is also very important.

I disagree Ken.
If all it took to be highly ranked was to one way link to highly ranked sites, everyone would do that.

RELEVANT reciprocal links are where it is at, but they must be to highly ranked relevant pages with Page rank.

I know some other secrets too, and that is why we have been on, or close to the top for so long.

My other website www.brandonsingles.com is second worldwide Google for search term "singles group"

Now, the singles field is an EXTREMELY crowded, lucrative playing field.
Being highly ranked there can make one a LOT of money.

The group I started is non profit.
I ONLY started it to have a never ending supply of single women, LOL

Hey, just kidding, I started it so single people like me would have an alternative to the bars, etc.

LOL Chris... you weren't kidding. All those phone numbers.. so many women.. so little Chris. You got a killer racket my friend.

I'm telling ya Chris, links back and forth have no weight with Google. When I say one-way links I mean to your site with no return link. Talk to anyone involved in SEO and they will tell you the same thing. I am changing the way I link to all contractors on my RAD website. Links will click to a subdomain page on my site with all relevant contact information, but all direct links will be eliminated (or maybe available as an upcharge, not sure yet) Its very difficult to get a one-way link. This is why a site that has one-way links is considered an "authority" site.

Oh, I SEE now what you mean.
Having people link TO you, w/o a return link.
I THOUGHT you meant just placing a link on your page TO an important site, LOL
Yes, IF you can get highly ranked, relevant pages to link to you one way, that is good.
Actually Ken, the days of "search engine manipulation" are a coming to an end!
Google is hip to all the "tricks"
We had an overzealous local singles group competitor simply vanish in an attempt to spam the search engines.
Google sent him to the sandbox, IF you know what that is, LOL

Those of us with the older "trusted" URL's will be sitting "high and dry", as long as we do not do anything stupid, LOL

There are MANY opinions Ken.
Believe it or not, I have had more then one SEO company email me and ask HTF I got to be number two in Singles Group Category, LOL ;)

It is a guessing game, where the rules constantly change.

You know you're right there, Chris. Nobody really knows for certain. I see some strange sites at number one. If anyone truly ever figures out the perfect formula, Google will just change the algorythm to keep pace.
