Number One Again!

Roof Cleaning Instructor
Our Web Site http://www.saferoofcleaning.com has returned to it's "rightful" place as number one on Google :)
We HAVE been the worlds number one ranked Google web site for our key words "Roof Cleaning" for years.

When I came "back" to the Internet a year or so ago, and started teaching roof cleaning again, I tried to help out my friends by providing a link on our number one ranked web site to them.

This hurt us in Google's eyes, because many of these web sites are NOT roof cleaning web sites at all!
Many are pressure cleaning or power washing sites.

To make matters worse, many of these sites did NOT link back to me as promised.

So, in Google's eyes, we "lied" to them by saying we are a roof cleaning site, then linking to pressure washers.

I set about to tell the folks I had linked to to add some roof cleaning keywords to their sites, and link back to me, or I would be forced to drop them.

I got rid of several sites that I linked to that were hurting me, and voila, back to number one again!

Really, as long as you are on the first or second page of a worldwide roof cleaning search, you will be number one in your local market, so it doesn't really "matter" if you are number one, two, three, or number 12!

But, it is important to me to be number one.

WHY ?
Because I strongly believe in using absolutely NO Pressure for roof cleaning.

The two competing sites for the number one Google roof cleaning websites are Jet Clean and Pitchwitch.

BOTH are advocating the use of pressure to clean roofs.

This is against my roof cleaning philosophy, and I see my web site as "carrying the torch" for all the non pressure roof cleaners.

People tend to look at the first search result, and it can only be good for ALL non pressure roof cleaners out of my area to SEE a non pressure roof cleaning site sitting at number one.

way to go Chris , I am about to set a page aside just for roof cleaning ON MY SITE!and adding an additionl site seperate from mine just for my roof cleaning business .I love cleaning roofs we did a record 8 roofs last week and only around 18 to 20 hours in labor and 4100 in gross , THE BEST PART WAS THIS WAS IN ADDITION TO OUR COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS ! LIFE IS GOOOOOOOD !!!

...All hail, you are truly the Google Pimp!!:) YOu've definitely mastered the art of placement,

Hey Russ,

....You clean many roofs on the "Southern McMansion" type house?? You know, 6K-8K sq.ft, brick, multiple dormers, gables, rooflines, etc. Pitches are way steep....12/12 minimum probably. Assuming you do, how do you do it?? I see all these FL guys posting roof pics, but they are mostly ranch-style homes, tile on a 4/12 pitch, etc. I know you know the type of house I am talking about......how does a guy go about applicating product on a roof like that?? All I can picture is a guy climbing a 40' ladder to the gutters, and applying. No way you could walk without tie-offs, etc.
