Not bad for a small 4gpm operation?

I think that my work has been pretty good but just wondering what you guys think? A small 4gpm with a GP Hammerhead. I'm just using EBC and the Surface cleaner. Most driveways that I do have little to no oil. Would a house wash with 12.5% and Elmemonator serve me better on driveways like this? Thanks

One day I'll upgrade to more gpm!

Looks great!

In my opinion I would use the same contrast/saturation/brightness on your before and after photos, if these are shown to potential/clients. I used to do the same to bring out more dirt before and brighten the after, so it's the first thing my eyes go to. I only mean this as constructive criticism, and most may actually prefer it the way it is right now.

Johnny, the first first picture was on one day when it was cloudy and the after picture was taken another day when it was sunny. It was just my crappy camera. I didn't adjust the color. Haha the other one it was sunny on the before picture and cloudy on the after picture that changed the way it looks. I noticed that too. I just need a good camera I guess. Thanks.

C.L., I guess after seeing all of theses guys with their 6-8 gpm it makes me feel like 4 gpm is small. The biggest problem I have is rinsing after using the surface cleaner. I've tried to rinse with the x-Jet didn't like it. Now I jay the 40 degree 4.5 nozzle. I'm thinking about trying a larger orifice to see how that does. Any tips on rinsing after surface cleaning?

Chris, if you run a ball valve in line before gun / surface cleaner that's where it's at for me. Open ball valve, choke to as desired, and rinse away!

I do run a ball valve. I'll try it. Thank you

I'm also a 4gpm operation. Hey we need to start somewhere, right. I use a push broom a lot for clearing water. I can run it long distance with out adding more water. I then go back and hit again with pressure and broom again.

Just checking in to see how you guys are enjoying the ballvalve? I am also running 4gpm with my surface cleaner, and tried the ball valve trick with some luck. I have noticed, for me at least, I use my dual lance wand to rinse. I have it set with a 25deg tip and the soap tip. Adjusting from tip to tip allows me to rinse around delicate flowerbeds / mulch areas without blasting flowers all over the driveway. If I don't need to be "delicate", I can close off the soap tip and rinse away!

BTW - Great pics. I love being able to show the customer just how much difference it makes to get a professional to clean their property the correct way.

Nice job man. Those pics on postcards will definitely sell you some work. Just picked a 4gpm up Sunday used it 2x they are great. I'd like To find a 2nd cheap for when my 8gpm goes down again. Figure I can just plumb them together off the 8 gpm dbl supply lines fast and easy. A little off topic on the 4gpm. Used a 0030 for 2 story peaks today it did great rinsing heavy buildup. Was great shooting vertically but would get a little loose on a softer angle. What tips do you guys like on a 4gpm?
