No more making fun of Texas Drivers

I saw an episode of King of the hill a few years ago that I will never forget. It started spitting snow and everybody ran their cars into each other.

Well, tonight it rained. Yes, it rained in Nevada and this is what happened:

That's a big row of bushes on I'm stuck on and into a rock embankment. The bushes stopped us 6 feet from a light pole.

I won't be making fun of Texas drivers after this.

Last time I was in Vegas, it was sprinkling. On the radio, they were talking about flood warning

1/2 an inch

We're fine, it was Fayth in her pajamas and Max (the chihuahua, who was naked as usual) going to the airport to pick up my sister. Once we looked at it this morning we realized there was no damage except for the front bumper! We missed the rocks by less than an inch. The tow truck wenched us out sideways so we wouldn't get any more damage. And the Airport security didn't even cite us because all we did was take out some bushes.

The good news is, It will be cheaper to install this sweet aftermarket M5 bumper that I've wanted for a long time than to get our bumper fixed!!

That does look sweet and its functional too.

I thought you and Shelly was done with airport runs for the year, after the Vegas Roundtable (thanks again for the hospitality)

Tony,

I'm glad to hear that all is well! You could be arrested for cutting us TEXANS too much slack.

Take Care

Glad that nobody got hurt.

Looking at that new bumper, it looks like it has eyes, nose and a mouth, kind of like a toy robot. hahahahaha

It can be your own transformer. hahahahaha

That was in the F450, that was perfectly safe! :D

Took it in to the dealership, they popped out a piece of plastic on the bumper that was bent in and snapped two plastic pieces on the bottom and VIOLA! NO DAMAGE!! There aren't even any scratches! It was funny, the guy at the shop said it was probably because the bushes were wet and were too soft to do damage

Unbelievable.

Just when I'm celebrating we pulled into the drive this morning after working and smell something burning on the truck. Then the fan belt snapped in two from a red hot AC clutch with bad bearings! Uggg.

Glad nobody got hurt other than your pride and maybe your Fruit of the Looms.

Hope all goes well on the a/c repairs today.
