New Truck Wrap

nice very nice

That's not a bad price at all. I had a company quote me here in my area for a smaller vehicle and it came to around $1400.

A truck that size over $2000.

I highly recommend going to multiple sign companies for quotes. Some are real crooks and will try to rip you off. If you go to 5 of them you'll see the difference and can pick one that does good work for a reasonable price. It doesn't have to be a piece of fine art, it just needs to look pro and get business.

The Wrap Looks Good!!

As with any job that involves a lot of labor you will see a big difference in price. Just to let you know the actual cost for the the wrap materials is about 4.50 a sq ft and that is for top of the line 3M Cv3 cast wrap vinyl and matching cast cold laminate as well as the ink costs. Those prices are actually very high compared to other digital print vinyls. When they caculate your sqft you also get charged for the waste material as well ie if your graphics for the tailgate is only 50"X24" and they print on 64" wide rolls you will be charged for the 64" rather then the 50".

I would definetly price them out. But I would also ask these questions
1) if they are certified and by who (any training school will do)
2) What material they are using and the waranty of that material
3) past customers see if you can check out there wrap look for areas of the vinyl pulling up.
4) make sure they prime all the edges to ensure they don't pull up overtime that is where you will see failure.
5) Make sure they are printing with at least 54" wide printer (most wrap co. use a 64" wide printer so the can do hood sections in one piece)

THese are just a few things I can think of you do have to be carefull though just because the Company has a wide format printer does not mean the know how to do a proper wrap.

Thats very good advise Dan. As someone who has done window tinting, the quality of the material installed always reflects the price to install. Ever notice vehicles with window tint that has turned a purple color and/or has bubbled ? That is a perfect example of a "cheap" tint job.

When investing in vinyl lettering or wraps, the advice Dan provided above is top shelf.
