New Trailer Setup

Zap It Wash

New member
So I setup a new cold water trailer for multi-unit and residential washing. I wanted something small and efficient. I went with a 6 X 8 I had it painted red for better curb appeal loaded with two 8gpm's and a 12 gal fuel tank on each side. Have had it on the road a few weeks and so far it's working like a champ. Two 8gpm machines eat through some water no doubt about it. I'm curious what you guys, if anything, would have done differently with the setup?

The blue matches his eyes..................but then again so might the red. LOL Nice rig for sure.

Does your injector pull well from the tank at that distance with a 1/4'' hose?. Your trailer looks very efficient.

I have stupid question can pressure washer draw water from the top of tank.

The only stupid question is one you won't ask.
The answer is no.
Now I've siphoned antifreeze out of the top of a 5 gallon bucket before in an emergency but that is not recommended.

That is a nice setup.

I would put the tool box on the side or front top so you have a little bit more room in the trailer for other tools or surface cleaners on their sides.

I would add another supply hose reel, maybe on the passenger side of the trailer on the top rail so when you are parked at a house with the passenger side of the trailer at the house, you can unroll more hose in case you need 2 supply hoses for both 8gpm machines, I have had up to 4 supply hoses feeding the tank for 3 machines before.

You will run into supply issues in both commercial and residential where even a new facility or house does not have good flow and you need 2 hoses running to the tank to keep both machines running.

I am guessing the small tank is for house wash mix, that is a good idea.
