The most I have seen it for is 3 million. Our biggest problem is that we are losing kids, and not sure we want to live in a place like that when we are retired. It is a beautiful home, though.

Nope, about 900 from where I sit. We don't keep our house super cool, and our current home is any about $230 a month for 2800 Sq. Ft.

According to Zillow, the taxes and insurance are only $920 a month. We have an income tax in Arizona, and so the taxes are not quite as bad.

As for parking trucks there, can you imagine my employees if they saw I lived in a house like that? No way would I be parking a fleet of trucks there.

As for cash, well...;)

Wow! Unbelievable. I've never seen a $230 month even in the spring or fall. Ours runs between $600-$750 per month all summer for 3400 Sq. Ft (including the office) and we keep it around 78!

In 2003 our first electric bill in August was $730. We replaced all the windows with super efficient double-panes and added 11 more inches of insulation in the attic and it dropped down in the $500's, but now with all the creeping increases it's back up to the $700's. So much for trying to save money.

Our Taxes are over $2k/yr, but no income taxes though. Ours are nothing compared to property taxes in California though.

Our house is newer then yours and is well insulated. It makes a huge difference

Nope, i swore off Gilbert a long time ago. It lost its charm when it went past Warner.
