New filter!

I just picked up some of these bowl filters from Lori at PWP. They look awsome. Lets see how well they hold up. Some great features on them are
1. The threads are metal.
2. A seperate piece unscrews and then the bowl drops (so no vapor lock)
3. O-ring is seated in the bowl so no pincing or mis alignment
4. Dual lined crush proof mesh filter that has rubber ends

Remember to stick that badboy inline at least 5ft or more from your machine or you will be feeding it tiny air bubbles....

I guess I will be changing mine out. Right now its on the machine.

I get my clear bowl filters from industrial steam cleaners in Jackson , they are 20.00 for the 3/4 ... I would get them from Green Earth where I got the machine but Gary does not have the clear bowl ones... I do like the metal threads on the one you have though I think the threads in mine are plastic..

Why does the inlet filter need to be at least 5 feet from the pump??? This is the first I have heard of this. Thanks.

I use the banjo brand. they have a small screw on plug that lets you drain any debris and also helps in clearing the line of air before the pump. come to think of it I need another one.

The filter screening creates tiny air bubbles. Much like the screens do on a faucet in your kitchen sink. You will notice that tiny bubbles will appear close to the spigot. The farther away you go from the screen/filter you will notice that the water will stabilize and those tiny pockets of air bubbles will no longer be present basicly keeping any tiny air pockets from entering the pump. I hope I'm explaining this right. If not maybe someone else can chime in.
