I'm a new Daddy this year at 44...I have a 2 year old and 4 month old.

These girls woke me at 5:30am today, I took care of them on this holiday all morning.

Its wonderful to see them grow!!!

If your a Proud Old Daddy you can share also!!

Very proud of my three. Noah is 5 and mimmicks everything that I do. That is a great, and intimidating, feeling to know that someone so special looks up to me so much. Noelle is 3 and the apple of her daddy's eye. She stole my heart at birth and will not consider giving back any of it. Nevaeh is 3 weeks old today and she is just simply amazing. She is so great. I live and would die for each of them.

I have three..
Amber my niece, will be 8 in Feb. We have had her going on four years now.
Makayla is my step-daughter, she will be 7 in March.
Mckenzie is just over 3 months now.
These girls are my heart and soul, including my wife who is the glue to the whole family. They are truly the reason I get up everyday..
I have definitely been blessed.

As much as I love kids, I would have had ten, if I could have, I am glad that at 49, well in a couple of weeks, that I am not a new daddy. My youngest is 11, and a beauty. Her three brothers are 14, 18, and 20. We also have another kid, which means, he is part of our family, since his is a story from a nightmare. No one would believe his back ground, so, he is as much as ours. He is 17.

We came intp his life about 5 years ago. It started out as a church assignment. When he was 6 his despicable excuse for a mother dropped him off at someone house saying he was her grandson and tha the mom needed to go tp Michigan for two weeks. The grandma only has an income of $600 a month for SSI. since he is not her dependent she gets no additional money for him. The trailer where they live is something out of a horror movie.
When my wife took over, he had not passed a school class in ages. My wife started working with him. When I mean started, it was a minimum of three to four hours a day. She would meet him at school in the morning, check to make sure that he had bathed, brushed his teeth and put on deodorant. This meant scraping his teeth with her finger to verify, as well as smelling his pits. Did I mention that my wife is an angel? She also checked all of his assignments to make sure that they were completed. After two semesters, he was up to straight A's. Of course, there were, and are still, rewards in place, whether it was taking him to Disneyland, or cash rewards. My wife invested a lot of time and effort into him. We also made him a part of our family, so that he could see what an almost normal family acts like. I think that he has learned a lot.
So, now, he is a senior in High School. He is on a graduation track, and actually is making plans for the future. Anyone that understands true poverty knows how amazing that is. People in poverty seldom have a concept of what the future is. So, just that is a mjor accomplishment. We hope it holds. He is currently on his own, at his own pace, but still checks in a couple of times a month, outside the normal course of mentoring him from a distance.

We got very early confirmation were expecting a yearling in the near future. More to come on this subject however no-one in the family knows yet so I hate to ruin the surprise for the family here on the internet.

I would have, except on number 4 my wife was 38, and we about killed each other. That was the end of pregnancy for us.
