Just landed a 250,000 sq ft concrete cleaning and sealing job. Would like some advise on the sealer application on concrete..Prep Ect Ect

Take a look at BASF products. I use Hydrozo 40 a lot on commercial work. Easy to use, high quality penetrating sealer. I surface clean with reclaim then seal. Hydrozo 40 is solvent based and can be used on damp concrete ( no standing water but doesnt have to be bone dry. BASF is always changing the product names but search this and you can find the new equivalent. I just got some last week and Im still getting the "old name" stuff.

Oh yeah I typically use Chapin style pump sprayers but for 250,000sqft I would build a spray rig. The Hydrozo is isopropal alcohol base and thin so I think a basic spray rig would work good. Its not real "hot" to where you eat seals easily.

Might want to look into your states VOC laws. We can't use the good sealers in Illinois anymore since they changed the VOC laws. We have to use crappy sealers that aren't worth a crap. Haven't found a good sealer yet but I think I am going to try a new sealer from this guy. https://www.southernstainandseal.com/

Customer is a coating company and will supply the sealer (water based)....wondering what to charge for cleaning and then applying sealer and how.

BASF has a bunch of VOC compliant sealers. The one I mentioned is VOC compliant.

Pricing is tough, I would habe to drop my cleaning price for a quantity discount..im usually doing 10,000sqft or less. Water based is going to be a little less forgiving in terms of making sure you have even coverage. Do you know the solids content fof the product they wanna use?

I would be right at about $.13 to $.16 a square foot for cleaning and applying.
