New Cleaning Magazine

Interesting that they have an ad for certification in it. Obviously industries are understanding the importance of certifications. Even those who at one time didn't support certs are backing them now. It's encouraging.
 
My name is Derek Christian and I am one of the two owners of Cleaning Business Today. We noticed a bunch of visitors from this site so I came to see who was hear and found this great community. I own a residential and a commercial cleaning company in Cincinnati and my partner Tom Stewart owns a residential cleaning company in Charleston. The magazine does have a tilt towards residential cleaning because that is what we know but at the end of the day we really wanted a magazine for people that own a business that just happens to make money from cleaning. Our goal is 80% of the magazine should be good for anyone that runs a business. We would love to mix some things up by including some people from the pressure washing industry either with a business problem for our Deep Dive column or in our Profiles in Success column. Our goal was to create a publication we would want to read. Another idea is a column on how to get into the business the right way. Cleaners are always looking into add on businesses and I know more than one person that went to Home Depot and bought a $250 pressure washer and added that service because it is easy right?
