Need Phoenix area help

This is directed to Ron or Scott and Phoenix washers.

I have a brand new rig that just doesn't seem to be running quite right
I need help to know if there's something wrong in the setup.

Is there a shop or mechanic in phoenix that you know is really good/experienced? A place that builds washers maybe? Someone who can put their eyes/ears on a setup and know what direction to go. I'm down here in Tucson and I seem to know a little more than the few engine and powerwash shops here.

my troubles..

kohler 28 hp I want to run it 2500 - 3400 rpm
general tsf2421 I'm looking to run it 7-10 gpm @ 2500 - 3000
2.176 - 1 gearbox
k1 unloader

The issues are the governor - It won't give enough throttle, especially under 3000. I swear it needs a stiffer spring. Placed it in different holes, didn't help. Pre-stretched it with the speed limit screw - helped a lot.

I specd the pump to match the engine but it 'seems' like it is much harder for the engine than it should be.

Here's something weird - With the pump at 10 gpm and the unloader adjusted to 3000 through a #7 tip, every other tip I had 8,9,10 all still ran exactly 3000.

That big old pump has 3/8 inch outlets and it runs 1000 psi through 100' of open end hose.

Thanks for any help
