need help stripping full driveway.

Hello Guys I have question to as. I was called this week to strip water base paint off the driveway in mobile home park. Problem is one it is painted driveway not spilled so we are talking about 900sq feet strip job. I tried box store stripper does anyone know of stronger type stripper out there.
 
The soy-gel is the best stuff I have used, maybe cover with plastic if it needs a longer time to work. it goes really far and doesnt evaporate much.

We've used xylene on small paint stripping jobs, but the Soy Gel will probably be your best choice. Make sure you bid high, or do it T&M. The Soy Gel is not cheap, and paint stripping jobs can often be a nightmare.
 
Thats a good summary - could be a nightmare. One thing is let the stripper eat completely through the paint. I use the soy for grafitti and it is actually really cheap because it goes sooo far. for a whole floor, I don't know but if it does all the work its worth it. Seems like the first 90 % is a breeze to remove and the last 10 % is 100 times the work. I just get the stripper at the local janitor/carpet cleaner place.
 
Tom, is that stuff stronger than Airplane Stripper? The Airplane Stripper has Methylene Chloride in it, very strong and harmful vapors but it is some good stripper.

Its more of a chemical supply type place. I would say its as powerfull as any solvent stripper I've ever seen. plus its a delight to be around and doesn't evaporate.
 
Try Bare Bones from NCL you can get it at Hillman Supply. It liquifies the paint and makes it easy to clean up. I use this on all my commercial accounts that need it and has never failed me.

you dont have to scrub, just let it sit 5 mins then rinse it off
 
Dads will kick a$$ and is half the price of Soy Gel......but it will kill anything it comes in contact with. Depending on what's around will make your appropriate decision.
 
Dads is the strongest solvent based I found, Jasco premium is as good or better - Dunn Edwards has the jasco - but if its warm out they evaporate and they are NASTY. I'm not an expert with this work but I swear the soy is as powerful as anything and it lasts so long and goes so far I think its cheaper.
