Need 335 gallon tank

hey guys

anyone know of a tank distributor in FL that has a 335 gallon leg tank?

I am needing the Ace Roto Mold (Den Hartog) kind with dimensions of 44" x 56"... I've had a quote for $496 for pickup in Jacksonville.

Also need a 100 gallon PCO/Utility type tank with a width of between 27" and 30".

I'm going to go with a smaller supply tank on my trailer so that I can get a bigger, dedicated soap tank behind the machine and off the tongue. I am currently building a gas can rack for 2 diesel and 2 gas cans to be mounted on the trailer tongue.

The changes in the picture below will be smaller tank - 535 to 335 gallon
bigger soap tank 32 to 100 gallon (moved from tongue to behind washer)
gas can rack for 4 containers on tongue
and a tool box mounted above hose reels at rear (will serve as a billboard aswell!)

... back to the point, any help on the tanks?!?!

:D

Hey Joe

Not really a problem with chems up front - tank is too small for what I am needing and want to try and have everything on the trailer (was carrying gas tanks in bed of truck). I though about the split cell tanks, but I don't think (and I don't know) that the DOT would approve of tanks mounted on trailer tongue?

(if anyone knows different, please correct me!)

Thanks for the reply!

Steven Some once told me that the tanks you are looking for is made lake whale.

Hi Chris,

... that's the very place Chris! Just spoke to them a couple of hours ago, they are called Dura-Cast - Greg from Splash and Dash put me onto them. Going to go to Lake Wales tomorrow and see what they have got - spoke to a woman named Melissa on the phone and they're prices sound a lot better than what I've seen elsewhere. Plus, she said that they manufacture them, so could make me something custom in about a week!

Thanks for the advice chris.

Steve, try Agri Supply. Just for what it's worth. During an insurance audit a few years ago, my agent went insane when he saw the chem tank on the tounge of my trailer like yours. Your behind a house washing and a kid walks up and turn the valve kinda thing. No trying to be anything but helpful.

Thanks for the link william... looks like a good site (going to bookmark it!!).

I hear what you're saying about the chem tank on the tongue... I actually changed from the leg tank in the picture to a 'utility tank' with only one outlet on one side... had this plumbed with a 3 way valve and both lines led to 'closed' hoses, thereby avoiding the scenario you mention. God only knows I wouldn't want someone dumping my soap tank!

:D

The company i did buisness with in Lake Wales was called Chemical Container.

company I spoke to was Dura-cast... I'll let you know how I get on.

Nick, I checked chemical containers site out... if their counter prices are the same as their net prices, they seem quite expensive.

Chris, my current soap tank is 35 gallons - I'm keeping it as a back up and I think I've got someone for the 535 gallon tank.

Kory, I'll call the company you recommend.

Thanks for the replies guys - I really appreciate your help and advice!

The tanks come with the 3/4 bulk heads in them.

You can use the 55 drums with a bulkhead fitting but securing the will be a problem.
