My new modified steel eagle surface cleaners

Well I did not buy the used Landa Sc....
Two of my old steel eagles Sc was rusted into and worn out....
I decided to rebuild them instead of putting money in the Landa we previously discussed.
Ended up taking rear wheels off and putting 4 new heavy casters all around,
Replaced metal handle with aluminum one, new guns and replaced all nuts and bolts with Stainless steel and new union.
Got two rebuilt and will not rust out no more for way less $$$ than what a union would have cost me on the landa sc.
Put my whips on, then we can try them out!!!

I hope they work out for you Al.

I really like the tires on the back, makes them so easy to steer with a couple fingers when you operate with a ball valve instead of a gun, just personal preference.

I don't like the castor wheels so much because rocks get there and cause it to go sideways or skid along when you have 4 castor wheels, with the tires in the back it seems to not matter so much, maybe it is just me.

The aluminum looks nice and shiny.

What brand of swivels did you end up using?

I had to replace my very first 24" steel eagle surface cleaner handle, it was getting very rusty so I ordered a new one, sure is nice and shiny! I got a little bit over 9 years out of that handle and it is the same original Deublin swivel, have not done anything to it yet.

I agree with Tony, I think you will be happier with the steel eagle running 11 gpm through them as they have a larger cleaning area. Not sure of the difference in speed in how fast the water jet swivel turns vs. the steel eagle swivel (Deublin, or the Talon 4 or Mosmatic). It would be interesting to know how fast they spin according to someone that has tested them if you can test them somehow.

I also like the "U" lawnmower type handle without the gun on it.

I had a larger top part of the handle made years ago to be more comfortable but the helpers complained that it was too tall for them so I finally removed it and put the regular size handle back on it.
