Been clamping 'em to my shirt for years. If I need 5 clamps I'll simply clamp 5 to my shirt. No fuss, no muss. One word of caution - doesn't work well on T-shirts, and hurts like crazy if you forget!

Great idea there Mikey. Just to show how good an idea it is, those pesky window cleaners have been using your "Tarpster's Belt Mate" and calling it a belt and holster for years. Richard in Colorado has been hanging clamps off his shirts and calling them "nipple clamps", ouch. You are on the right track, Mikey, don't let the nay-sayers put you off-just keep coming up with the great ideas. I am working on a 2 dollar hinge kit, a spray-on plastic tarp and a rice blaster for oriental grease. Some day I'll be rich and famous enough to sub out my work, that is, if I don't slide off a slanty-ass roof first. Where's Dominic, he ain't been around in years.

Still in the works, Old timers seem to have a very keen insight and myopic outlook on a fresh idea. My thoughts were more to apply new ideas to those who have minimum knowledge on this industry, and use them until they found there own way of doing business. I have some procedures that work for me that would feel to others a waste of time and money, but it works for me because that’s how I learned to do it. each to his own. I’m always thinking of new ways of doing business in this industry, not so much for a quick buck but its more like trying to stay ahead of the game. "If you could find out what the most successful people did in any area and then you did the same thing over and over, you'd eventually get the same results they do.
Get around the right people. Associate with positive, goal-oriented people who encourage and inspire you.
Be selective about your external influences. your multi-dimensional brain is influenced by everything you see, hear, read, smell, touch, feel or say. Avoid negative people at all costs. They are the greatest destroyers of self confidence and self-esteem". Mikey

I am afraid to ask-why would one need to wear a belt with 24 claps and assorted tools? It seem to be impractical-but then again-being the age that I am & out of the curve. A bucket of claps and five hanging off cloths seems to work fine. I will bet you $100 that my managers would not use the belt after one week.

Your hood draping system would work as soon as you solve the problem that we pointed out.

It is great to look at things out of the box as long as you keep a eye on what is in the box.

No one carries those shims out here on the left side-Give me a call and I will buy some.
