My Angel

17 years ago today my beautiful first born was called home.As I held her in my arms as she took her last breath I tried to bargain my soul for her life. My God in his infinite wisdom wouldn't allow me a live of eternal damnation and I have learned over the years that this bright shining star who was in my life for such a short time helped define the man I have become.
On the 17th of July she would have turn 19.I am grateful everyday that I was blessed with 3 more wonderful children to love.

We go on. I can't imagine what it's like to lose a child.

I lost my 16 y/o nephew 2 months ago in an accident. My sister knows. Sad stuff.

12:21 His servants said to him, “What is this that you have done? While 34 the child was still alive, you fasted and wept. Once the child was dead you got up and ate food!” 12:22 He replied, “While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept because I thought, 35 ‘Perhaps 36 the Lord will show pity and the child will live. 12:23 But now he is dead. Why should I fast? Am I able to bring him back? I will go to him, but he cannot return to me!’”

12:24 So David comforted his wife Bathsheba.

You've got up and ate. You've comforted your wife. Your angel cannot come back to you, but YOU WILL go to her. She'll be waiting for you. Praying for your pain Brother!
