MSDS infomation

Hey guys,

I'm putting a binder together that will stay in the truck. What Im looking for is MSDS sheets on the most common used chemicals we use on a daily bases. F9, EBC, Caustic, Truck Washes, etc. I know there are a ton of these out there, but anything that we can put in the binder is what we are looking for.

If you have any MSDS sheets that you care to share that would be great. Maybe a vendor such as Russ Johnson might have some that he could send. Once I get the binder together I will upload photos and table of contents so others can use.

Could be another added benefit for PWI and the UAMCC.

Thanks everyone.

PS. Don't need one for F9. Craig sent a mass email out the other day that had one attached.

That's an awesome idea. Thanks Bryan!

Not everyone uses the same chemicals. If we can get this uploaded on the UAMCC module or include it here then it would make it easier for all of us. One place to search other then goggling each item.

You would log on to the UAMCC or here go to MSDS find what you need print it off. One search 1000 results!!

PS. Your suppliers should be providing you with the MSDS sheets at the time of purchase!

Hey Grant you are correct in the fact that suppliers should be giving you msds sheets. But my thinking is this do you carry every msds that the suppliers give you to every job. If so then you are way ahead of me. But what if you are looking to bid a job lets say for example on rust removal. You haven't yet bought that chemical from Craig or any other distributor. You are asked when giving the bid to supply a msds right there. Now either you have it in your binder or you go to search the net. But what if every msds we most common use is right here in one location.

CL the contents of my binder are as follows:
Certificate of Liability
Auto Insurance ID card
Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Collision Report
SWQ Permit
Chemical MSDS Information
*EBC
*F9 BARC
Chemical and Mixing Procedures
PW Cook Book for Dummies

I will add to it as I gather information.

We use only a limited number of chems. Every truck has the current MSDS for each chem.
If needed for bidding purposes, I would call my supplier(s) for any chems that we don't currently use or have the MSDS on.
There are probably several hundred different chems that the members of this board use on a regular basis. That could become a very large binder!
