Motel Rooms when your out of town ????

OMG !! I am staying at the Motel 6 .. My TV is Black and White, there is no coffee maker, I do have a fridge though. The shower doesnt work right and the a/c unit blows out white smoke when you turn it on .. But hey I do have internet access.. Anybody got any horror storys about staying at motels while working... I am sure Russ may have a few.. The only good thing about this motel 6 is that it is connected to a Waffle House..

Well there is also a huddle house across the street.. Got to love Senatobia.. It's like one big restaurant town out here.. I think I may drive to Memphis tomorrow to goof off.. I have to check out at 11am tomorrow and I am only 30 minutes from Memphis.. There used to be a big pressure washing place in Memphis I would like to see if they are still there.. I dont have to be in Batesville until tomorrow night.. And I have a real easy hood cleaning tonight.. So i shouldn't be too tired.. Anyways got to get ready to go to work .. I really need a vacation...
 
I always find the nearest military base and drab a cheap room thats loaded and decked out for 12 dollars a night! Gotta love it!
 
Holiday Inn priority member, the more you stay the more points you get towards a free night's stay.

I try not to do Motels but sometimes it happens when your in Bumf**k Mississippi...or on Backlick Rd Virginia...

I have been to bumf**k Mississippi.. Never had the pleasure to stay there but I cleaned a store down the street from it in Marks Ms, then Charleston, MS.. I was told to cut my machine off by midnight or I would be disturbing the peace.. Well I made it home and have the whole day tommorrow to goof off before cleaning again all next week... ( Just noticed i am booked solid thru all the way to Nov 15th . )
 
Going back out of town next week and I had an idea... I have already called and set up my motels.. I got some pretty good deals by booking in advance.. Looking at a total trip charge of around 200.00 with gas , chem, diesel, plastic and rooms... Total to make is 1850.00 so thats 1650.00 profit.. ( Not bad for 3 days.
 
I broke down one night in between Greenville and Greenwood- right in front of an Indian-owned motel.

The overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and curry haunts me to this day.
Even a whiff of curry makes me want to puke, over ten years later.

I know Matt won't come because there are no historic gay bars in Leland, MS.

Nah, I think if there is enough interest in another one I'll keep it at the same place. There is a name change in the works, though.
