Mosmatic Surface Cleaner Swivel Rebuild

I have a Mosmatic surface cleaner with ALOT of time on it,..no problems. Just looking to do preventive maintenance. Anyone ever rebuild or at least do an o-ring replacement in one of these Mosmatic surface cleaner swivels? What about greasing these,..do they need it or not,...never had one apart,..and don't want to rip into it without some guidance. I think the one I have is more than $200.00 to replace,...seems a little maintenance,..if possible is a good idea.
