More thoughts on our Industry

I read complaints from time to time on our industry not being taken seriously. Today after checking the mail I see the Cleaner Times in there. I sit down to eat lunch and start to thumb through the magazine and come across the "Could you be Working on the Railroad?" article.

Page 24 explains how you should not be intimidated by a lack of experience and blah blah blah.. It also mentions winning bids over other companies.. It also states that doing this type of work comes with Mandatory Wastewater Recovery and then the very next page (25) this guys company is washing using Zero recovery..

Did anyone else notice?

It also states that not all cleaning requires recovery depending on location, plus the company you are talking about is one of the highly respected contractors from this board and PWNA, I am very sure he is complying.

I admit I just skimmed the article, but I believe the point that Wesley is trying to make is that the article and the picture don't match, and that maybe it would have been a better idea to use another picture.

There are a variety of reasons that they did not match. It could have been a location, that for a variety of reasons, did not require waste water recovery, or it could have been an old picture. I did notice the incongruity, though.
