Greaser of the Year
I'm trying to save some space in the Ford longbed and downsize my 220 gallon buffer tank. What do you think is the minimum size tank I should go with using a 5.5 gpm machine?
Ant, you could get a clear 55 gallon drum that has the open top and install a Hudson valve in the top and a bulkhead fitting about 2" from the bottom to run a hose to your pressure washer.
As long as you have water flow, it will not overflow unless the hudson valve gets some trash in it, it does happen sometimes.
If you use garden hose connections, you can take the drum out whenever you need to when it is empty and not have to cut hoses, just unscrew them.
The 55 gallon drum will only take up 2'x2' area in the truck and about 3' high more or less.
Wow. Chris just bought this 425 tank today to put in his longbed. We've got a 120 gallon we'll trade ya! He's trying to hit short stops without hooking up.
