Mi-t-M kills Hydrotek

...or does it? Looking at a Mi-T-M 3500psi Honda 5 gpm belt drive 110V burner vs. Hydrotek 3500 psi 5 gpm Vangaurd, belt drive, 12v burner. I know the 110v burner is usually a better option. But all other capacities being the same, watcha think? But for guys who have had either, or have had both, your preference? Thanks

I already replied to this same thread on the PWR forum, but I'm wondering why you're comparing these two units. It's not exactly comparing apples to apples. They do make Hydroteks with Honda engines and110 volt burners. Are you comparing two used units that you're finding on Craigslist or something?

I think certain Models of Hydrotek are Far Superior than Mi-t-m. Certain Landa Models Blow both away.

For the Bang Dollar per pound the Hydrotek Wins for contractors.

If you want to Try a Mi-t-m Rent one they are in Rental Yards all over the country and are a Vary good Machine.

YOu can Get what Ever Motor you want on a Machine, thats just a preference.

I stumbled on a Hydrotek on sale, and a very slightly used (less than 100 hours) Mi-T-M at the same time.

Every Landa I have seen has had nothing but problems from the beginning. These were smaller units, 3 gpm, 3.5 gpm, and 4.8 gpm all between 3000-3500 psi and all having 12v burners. The latest one 4.8 gpm is laid out poorly, even has the gas lines running along the side of the burner. The guy paid over $10k, what a waste and its already had a bunch of warranty work at less the 150 hours.

I have heard guys have issues with 12v hydro teks, not heard much about Mi-t-m, look at both layouts and see what components they are using. If the components are all the cheap ones, have a great layout as you will need to replace stuff and will need the room.

You should use epps -A
