John you remeber my whitco machine I hope... It has a 2000 watt Generator Head on it by Winco... Well just found out today that after being tested on a growler the armature is bad.. A new armature is 269.00,, I found the generator for 399.00 on the net from power sourc .com... I was wondering should I spend the 399.00 and get the winco head or should I just spend 399.00 and get one of those 4400 watt fake honda engine generators off of ebay ?? I could do alot more with a full generator than just the generator head... I just cant decide... My witco machine is wired so there is a flow switch where the pressure switch used to be so using a full generator with its on motor shouldn't be a problem I don think ... the only disadvantge I see is that I will have too start two motors instead of one and I will use about 3.00 more in gas per job...

Don't buy the Honda knock off...Chinese metal is not good and you'd have a tough time getting service for it anywhere. Get the Winco or buy a good generator with a Honda, B&S, etc...even a Tecumseh. At least you'll be able to get it fixed if it breaks.

I wonder if I buy this coleman ... I dont no about the motor but the price is good...

I will be using less HP from my 13 HP Honda on my pump so I was thinking when the ts-1511 general pump goes out maybe a pump with a little more GPM or PSI ... Any Ideas.... That general pump has been a nice one but it is starting to get a little old looking... I also noticed the other day they sale a ts-1511 general pump that has a stainless head on it instead of brass....
Say I went with a 3000 psi @5gpm Instead of 3500psi @ 4gpm
What kind of water heat loss would I lose with that extra GPM running thru my burner....or will a 13 HP honda rnu a 3000psi@5gpm ???
Man I am just full of questions this morning...

You'll never get 5 @ 3,000 with 13 hp...best you can hope for at 5 gpm is 2,400 psi...
