The Cleaner

Vetran Washer 30 Years Plus
We have been doing alot of work here in the Tampa Bay area for a company we have worked with over the years. This has turned out to be a pretty awesome gig, they contacted me 2 months ago with a proposal.

We have been there go to company for all there maintenance & property cleaning. We have been subbing out alot of the Parking lot striping & sealcoating along with painting and mechanical repairs at all there locations. We are doing the pressure cleaning and small painting jobs for them. We started getting our checks this month and they actually pay right at 30 days :happydance: I have actually made more money this month doing nothing but faxing out work orders.

If this continues I may just sub out the P/W as well and just use my Iphone from the boat...lol... We have become the middle man for this huge company and they have asked me about other areas around the country. I told them that I work with a network of guys and I would dish out the work if he needed it done, so I will see how it goes.

We have a minimum of $250.00 no matter what the job is, we actually changed out a door handle at a local bank for the $250.00 it took us 15 min. There is alot of little jobs like this that come in and multiple work orders can be done in a day. My fax goes off at least 10 times a day from them and I am not complaining !! My biggest concern with them was getting paid on time, but they have kept their word and are very happy with the service.

Nick,

I do the same thing for a company in California. If you have any maintenance needs in Northern California or any Pressure Washing needs throughout California, let me know or feel free to give me a call..

I am going to their main office in April, I will be meeting with the regional property manager. I am going to try and implicate a nationwide service network with them, if this goes well I will be in touch with some of you here. This company started out with us 6 years ago and left a bad impression with us, they were slow in paying and I had to go to extreams to get invoices paid. Since then they had contacted us again and assured me that they have rid themselves of all incompetent office personal.

I was hesitant to hook up with them again, but was assured of a better working relationship. So far so good, they almost immediatly approve all work orders I submit that are under $1000.00 anything above that takes up to a week or more. The best part about it is if you have a good network of people that are willing to wait Net 30 you can get a piece of all the action without doing the work. I would just be sure that they are dependable insured contractors that are willing to name you additionally insured.

They have a pretty impressive group of companies under their belt and seem real easy to work with. They seem to understand the cost of doing buisness is not cheap, that is why I had to come up with a minimum price. If they need something done that is out of area they understand that the minimum goes up, but if I can put a network in place this will save them money. Will see how it goes, I dont hold my breath anymore in this economy, but we can only hope things start to turn around for this country. My son in law has been out of work for a year now and I have to keep him working with me so he can put food on the table for my grandkids......and he is probably the worst employee I ever had I mean he sucks, I almost want to give my daughter some money and have him stay home !!! lol
