Magnetic Pen - Cool!

Cool story

Gardner, from Waterloo, isn't sure why his pen is so popular, but suspects it has to do with the YouTube video he made.

"It had 30 hits one day and by the next day it had over a million hits, so it went viral somehow. That day we did very good and since then we've been exploding," Gardner told Craig Norris, host of CBC's The Morning Edition.

Gardner's Kickstarter campaign for the Polar Pen had a goal of raising $14,000. As of noon Wednesday, it had raised more than $790,000.

On the down side..

Magnetic have not hurt my solid state stuff. hard drives is about the only thing that magnetic will harm and that is only if you get past the protective case. I have played with magnets on tablet many times without harm. My cell phone I hold on walls and in the car with a earth magnet glued on the car and a small steel washer on the back of the phone. Looks pretty cool and different. I like it.

Older CRT screens and the old TV would ruin the screens, and the old hard drives if you put a strong magnet on the case in a few days it would cause some data corruption.
