Loss of Pressure - Compeltely Stumped!

Loss of pressure.

Replace unloader.

removed and inspected all check valves and orings.

Belt tight

Used water tank and garden hose as water supply, no change.

no leaks.

Help! What am I overlooking?

Low pressure smooth or choppy? Did it just go all at once or has it been fading? Could be a bad high pressure seal.

Low PRessure is smooth, no pulsating or machine gunning which leads me to believe there are no air leaks. Thanks Russ......I do not use the machines on a daily basis and my employees fail to communicate frequently, but I would guess it has been Fading.

Mine was a gun on my surface cleaner that died 6 ft into the job. Left pressure on the line and everything.

Russ,
If I pull off the head, will I be able to tell if the seals are bad? This is one thing I have never messed with before.

You'll probably have to pull the brass out of the head to check the seals...and usually tear them up anyway in the process. The seal kit is $95.00 for a T5050.

Just reading down the page and thought the same thing, all I can say is WOW, I'm glad that place is helping mike find out what was wrong with it. Say that site might be $5 or $10 cheaper? Do you think that they would give out as much help as russ does without charging anyone? Or think if mike would have taken the machine to the shop what a big charge he would have gotten from that!

I had it happen to me today too. My relief valve was sucking air. Took me 40 minutes to figure it out.
