Hello All,
I am looking for advice and opinions from all you experienced roof washers. I am in the final stages of buying a PW business here in the Portland/Vancouver area. The seller has done fleet washing, some flat work, etc., but has been doing roofs exclusively for a while now. He is a great guy, and seems to be a straight shooter. However, he does things differently than what I have read here and elsewhere, and I would like to get some feedback. I'm not saying his way is wrong. I've seen the results, and it seems to work fine. I would just like to get a "second opinion" of sorts.
Also, I would like to clean black algae, and his method does not seem to address this problem.
He uses a zinc sulfate mixture, sprays the roof, then returns a week or two later with a blower. He seems to use this same technique with comp as well as tile roofs.
Gentleman, I am trying my best to start a legitimate company that can grow and prosper for years to come. NOT some fly-by-night part-timer looking to undercut everyone. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Mike
(sorry for such a long post)
