Lettered signs that light up

Was doing an awning Sunday and a business owner asked me if I could wash
His lettered signs that light up, he said they were just dirty and no dirt was behind or in the letters...then when I collected my money for the awning this business owner said his has a few business with the same type if lights
Solo sounds like I should at least look into this. Anyone doing these?

From what I've read.....neons can be tricky, if that is what they are. I think Craig over near Beverly Hills does them.

I would pass or forget about water. Just use a b rush and a copmressor for air. But old signs can short out with water and movment or you can break the britle lexan letter and youre going to be buying an all new sign.

If you are talking about non-neon signs you can use a water fed pole and scrub them down. Ask them to remove the lettering for a thorough cleaning. Neons hate water and especilaly soaps. You ask them to turn them off and use water only and get them to sign a damage waiver.
