Let's talk dirty … how long do you spend in the shower? 4 September 2009

Let's talk dirty. How dirty are you? How long does it take you to scrub yourself clean of a morning?
Research by a new "Shower Power" campaign launched yesterday – in a bid to save water by encouraging short showers – shows that contrary to lazy, popular and potentially misogynist belief, women only spend a mere 39 seconds longer in the shower than men. Despite the fact that many men are clearly follicularly challenged and don't need to wash our hair, we're not much faster.

On average I spend at least 8-10 minutes in the shower. Unless of course I'm taking one of these. Then it's anyones guess. It depends on how long the bubbles last. :dirol:

Haha. I love that picture, that's a classic.
 
after fleet washing i am dirty and it takes me about 10 min + the time to clean the the dirt off the shower walls.
 
I am currently in need of someone to take over my business. I just had to scratch my eyes out...
I can usually hit the shower in three minutes or less.
 
My husband takes longer in the shower than I do. He's squeaky clean when he comes out though!

There were some quick showers in the Shelton household during the LV RT. Jim G and Chris C were staying here (in addition to Chris and Jill) and our hot water heater broke down.

Thanks to both Chris's we were able to get it fixe the next day or so.

It was disturbing to see both Chris C and Jim coming out of the shower together though.....mumbling something like...
"we were just using body heat to keep warm." :jester:

Showers are one of life's luxuries. I had a roomate that wanted to put a lawn chair in the shower!

Time in the shower depends on who I'm with and where I am!!!!

Thats a lot of body to cover, I see why it broke down. Chris & Jim in the same shower, good thing you have a walkin shower.

I was thinking that something more on the lines of a drive thru car wash would be needed for those two. :scratchhead:
 
You guys are too funny! I could not stop laughing! hahahahaha

Those were some very fast, very cold showers there in LV!

Glad we got the hot water working again!


I usually take my time in the shower, 10+ minutes or longer, I just take my time, usually waking up in the morning since I don't drink coffee, the hot showers help me wake up.

That was a good one Larry. hahahahaha
