Lets Talk About Rinse Additives

I live in a high TDS area (200-750) and have been flirting around with the idea of using a rinse additive to help with spotting of the windows. Should you mix some into a bucket and ds it during rinsing or add it to your buffer tank? Also how much? My current mix is 3 gal sh, snot or sitck up and some cherry bomb.

Ive tried adding the dishwasher rinse aid, downstreaming a mix of vinegar and water after the wash, and others of the years. The only thing that has worked for me is using a water fed pole right after the rinse to rinse windows again with pure water.

I use this in my mix. I do 2 gallon Sh and 3 gallon water with 8oz elemonator. It will not leave any spots. If it dries on the window I just spray it again and rinse it well and no spots.

I also is elemonator and still get spots, the water is too hard here. Some houses are better then others.

That is exactly what I am going to really push for from here on out Tony. Looking at getting a new wfp setup here soon. Heber, we have tried elemonator and while it is very good we have had better luck with roof snot and stick up.

Wow, I used to say that elemonator was leaving spots and streaks on windows, and the replies woukd be, " I use it and never have a problem". Glad I wasn't imagining it. For those who swear by it, wait until the windows dry and go inside and look out. I was shocked how bad the windows looked. I dreaded doing house washes. Now I use snot and windows rinse crystal clear the first time. Not 12 rinses later.

We use the "Snot" and have never had any problems with spotted, streaked glass! That's the main reason we use it. IT WORKS FOR A CLEAN SPOT FREE GLASS!!!

During an estimate I always tells the customer...."Now once were all done the windows may have water spots on them, if you'd like ill make you a package deal for an additional XXX we will hand wash all the glass once we are all done leaving everything spotless"
