Let's hear about Florida

We were hit pretty bad on this gulf coast, no damage here but there are others in low lying areas that have been evacuated. It has sucked for work as we are going to be well behind but mother nature is going to have her way no matter what.

Rain, wind, Rain, wind, more wind,,,,,, wind, rain and more wind.... Pretty much sums it up. That and now were are behind on work as well. Had to reschedule a lot of clients but they more than understand. Did I mention all the rain and wind? Oh, and let's not forget about all the tornados. Seriously though, its been a mess.

Lots of rain over here in St Augustine. Wind not bad yet but will get windy by late Wed and into Thursday as it passes through. Jacksonville is showing a lot of flooding as some streets are under a foot of water. St Augustine will show flooding if we get another 3-5 inches of rain. Even a section of I-10 between Lake City and Jax is closed due to flooding. I am enjoying a few days off to spend with my girls and will get back to work this weekend.

Up in my neck of the woods, the flooding has been severe from both the rains, and the storm surge. Franklin and Wakulla ( in my service area) counties have been very hard hit, several houses lost due to surge along the beach and several inland houses lost due to flash flooding.

I guess if there is a silver lining to this, it will make the algae and mildew grow well this summer as some of our areas have had over 2 feet of rain from this storm!

Well this certainly helped get us closer to getting out of our drought!
